Mark Galinovsky is a composer, music director, accompanist, arranger, and vocal coach. Trained in classical piano from the age of 6, Mark is a three-time First Prize recipient in the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association Bay State Competition, as well as a Finalist in the American Arts Festival, earning him a performance at Carnegie Hall. He has studied in the piano studios of Helena Vesterman, Anne-Marie McDermott, Anthony De Mare, Grant Wenaus, and Dan Riddle. Off-Broadway: Cyrano (The New Group), The Lightning Thief (Theatreworks), The Extraordinary Fall of the Four-Legged Woman (Soho Playhouse/Fringe Encore Series). Regional: The Buddy Holly Story, Hair & The Producers (Forestburgh Playhouse), Little Shop of Horrors (Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe). Other organizations he has worked with include Broadway Youth Ensemble, Davenport Theatrical, Village Light Opera Group, NYMF, The Secret Theatre, and Untitled Theatre #61. Mark has a BM in Piano Performance with a minor in Producing from NYU Steinhardt, and is an MFA candidate in Music Direction at Penn State University (2020).
